Sarah Hathaway is a typical, wholesome teenager, raised in a good home and church. But Sarah is about to change her mind about God. 15-year-old Sarah has led a nearly perfect life. Her loving family has raised her in a life revolving around the church, and the girl has never had to know grief or loss. Suddenly, she is confronted with it in waves, beginning with the loss of her grandmother and ending with the death of her mother. Sarah becomes embittered, and her anger at God causes her to turn to something that may give her the control over life's circumstances. Sarah turns to witchcraft to console her grieving heart. She begins to study it, along with her new friend Ryan Morris, and soon she discovers that the craft is all too real, and it has the power to give her what she wants and needs. But Sarah doesn't know that there are two sides to every coin, and in her innocence she misses the signs that something very sinister is going on behind the scenes. Someone has their eye on her, and it's not to help or guide her; they long to take her very life, and they have lured her right into their trap.
