Lucien's Reign

Rasia DeSai sat at her desk in her bedroom reading her Book yet again, going over the history of the women who came before her. They were witches, just as she was. They had a dream and a vision for the future of their kind, and she had fulfilled it. She closed the Book and sat back. She put her hand on her swollen belly and stroked it, feeling an emotion that was the closest thing to love she was capable of without the presence of her husband. She would bear the child of vampire Cyril DeSai, and this child would be the true ruler of the world for all ages to come.
