A rich, magical, compelling high-action urban fantasy: as the Dark King rises, four teenagers are about to face betrayal and friendships are tested to the limits!

It's Christmas-time and Finmere Tingewick Smith (Fin to his friends) is back in Orrery House, with Christopher, one of his two best friends. They're there for the Initiation of the new Knights of Nowhere. The boys have tried to find some normalcy after their recent adventures, but they're badly missing Joe. He's stuck in the Nowhere, guarding two of the Five Eternal Stories that weave all the worlds together; they're held inside his own body.

But there is no Christmas in the Nowhere - and in both worlds, things are not as settled as they look, for Justin Arnold-Mather is getting ready to make his move. In the Nowhere, something is moving through the streets, attacking people - random victims - and leaving them mad and disfigured. And in Orrery House, a tiny crack has appeared in the Prophecy table...

About The Author

Sarah Silverwood lives and writes in Buckinghamshire, England. She has had a lot of jobs - some of which were mind-numbingly dull and some of which definitely weren't - but has decided that writing books is by far the best of them. She has a cat instead of a husband and children, because apparently the latter get irritable if you take off for a few days' adventure without warning. A cat is likely to sleep through it. Most of the time she can be found somewhere in her own imagination. She likes it in there.
Industry Reviews
'A wonderful blend and balance of fantasy and city... Silverwood's London is a place of fantastical steampunk proportions, an amalgamation of magic and era that blends into a wonderful character unto itself.' [ALPHA Reader blog] 'Silverwood sets a cracking fantasy pace in a novel aimed to appeal to Harry Potter fans.' [Sunday Canberra Times] 'Read this book if you liked Pullman's His Dark Materials, Gaiman's Neverwhere and Harry Potter.' [Dark Matter]
