In the competition, Jillian is injured by a vicious, cheating rival, and fails to win the gold - but then another competitor is disqualified. Jillian computer-links with the mysterious Saturn, the real power behind the Council, a former computer nerd who alone retains shreds of humanity: all the other Council members, you see, have gone mad with power.
