About the Author

Jolanda Bos is an archaeologist and dress anthropologist. Her research fields comprise archaeological beadwork analysis and hair studies, contemporary costume, personal adornment (the combination of dress, body decoration, veils, jewellery and amulets) and the social implications of dress.
