Prince Save is an admirable, eligible bachelor who triumphs in love despite treachery and rivalry. It is a story that shows the extent of decay that resulted from an accumulation of harmful activities. This was totally out of kilter with Gladtidings, which is known as a place where only good things happen. With an unreasonable and obsessive Fisto Bratly, divided loyalties, unaddressed grievances and simple greed gnawing at the foundations of the realm of Gladtidings, corruption steadily increased. Culminating in the activities masterminded by Fisto Bratly and his accomplices. In the end, there is justice because nature does not allow good to triumph over evil. This was evidenced in the resurrection story of our Lord Jesus Christ on Good Friday when the mob baying 'crucify Him', rewarded Him with evil for all of His miracles. Prince Save was a story told by Toby when he was around 7 years old. It was first printed in one book as one of 3 stories and 4 poems. Following professional advice, these have now been divided into 3 different books. Good Friday as Part I, Pirate Tommy in Part II and Prince Save in Part III of the series, Toby's KS1 & KS2 Stuff. Good Friday is the only book in this trilogy that is based on a true story. Doubtless Readers are enjoined to judge for themselves in the end, whether sentencing was harsh or appropriate. Given much of it could have been prevented. We are told that everyone avoided Fisto Bratly. Relevant in this age where the prevailing cancel culture and naming and shaming are used to cover up real underlying issues. Would counselling have helped with their obsessions? What are the full facts or the root causes of the issues? Why were outsiders obsessing over the wealth of Gladtidings? Did their citizens have legitimate grievances to begin with? Were their demands reasonable? Are their intentions noble? And so forth. Finally, I enjoyed writing Prince Save and I hope you enjoy reading it too. It is hoped that Readers young and old are challenged to value courageous, loyal, honourable and peaceful virtues. The ensuing disruption could have been devastating had it been successful. The Bible tells us that these are behaviours that people learn and can unlearn. So too children can be trained or choose to meditate on the Word of God and bind it in their hearts. The best path being clearer and brighter when this Word becomes a light unto our path and a lamp unto our feet.
