This book describes experimental and theoretical studies of pile footings widely applied in hydrotechnical engineering. Generic piles design techniques are also discussed. The coupled load analysis of piles subject to vertical, lateral forces and moments as well as the input data are defined. Pile footing design criteria are specified and further implemented to the analytical algorithms and procedures.
