About the Author

Michael Dahl is the author of over 50 fiction and nonfiction books for children and young adults. He has twice won the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Association of Educational Publishers for his nonfiction. Among his fiction, his Finnegan Zwake series was named among the five best mystery books of 2002 for children by the Agatha Awards. Dahl is a conference speaker on mysteries and children's nonfiction, and also conducts writing workshops for students. He is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
