When Winnie rolls into the lakeside town of Indigo Lake with a paintbrush in one hand and a dream in the other, she's determined to leave her messy past behind and start over. Her plan? Open Bubbles & Brushes, a charming paint-and-sip studio where creativity flows as freely as the Prosecco. But her vision of pastel walls and cheerful vibes clashes (hard) with her on-the-street business neighbour. Everett, the gruff, no-nonsense owner of a whisky bar that shares a wall with Winnie's new venture. When she paints her half of the building a cheerful bubblegum pink, Everett nearly combusts over his single malt. To make matters worse, their worlds collide even more when they discover their upstairs apartments are also - awkwardly - connected. Now, Winnie's sunshiney optimism and Everett's grumpy ways are constantly at odds in both business and their too-close-for-comfort personal lives. As the pair butt heads over everything from noise levels to paint swatches, an undeniable spark begins to smolder. But both have reasons for guarding their hearts - Winnie's escape from a past she doesn't talk about, and Everett's grief he keeps hidden behind a glass of Glenfiddich.
