Paint with Magic is a comical rhyming tale of an outrageous octopus, an aspiring artist and a multitude of beautiful sea creatures that come to life. When a child paints an octopus with magic paints, the octopus comes to life, keen to offer plenty of advice on how the painting should be done!

As the story and painting unfold, all the marine animals join in the fun ... until the paint dries. Will it be the best painting ever?

About the Author

Sandi is an award-winning writer of poetry and prose for adults and children. Science fiction and fantasy are her special interests. Passionate about children’s literature, Sandi regularly contributes poems and stories to The NSW School Magazine. From 2008 to 2012, she served as Treasurer of the Illawarra-South Coast Sub-Branch of the Children’s Book Council (CBCA). Paint with Magic is Sandi’s first picture book. Author lives in Illawarra.

About the Illustrator

Pat Kan is a talented and versatile artist, illustrator and graphic designer. He has illustrated several children’s books including The Australian Bushranger series and the Tommy Bell Bushranger series as well picture books: There’s a Koala in My Kitchen, There’s a Magpie in My Soup and Paint with Magic.
