Pacific Coasting is an artful travelogue and guidebook to planning the ultimate road trip up the Pacific Coastline, including the best places on the coast – or not too far off the coast – to stop along the way: Southern California’s La Jolla tidepools, Venice Beach, and the Getty Villa; Northern California’s Big Sur and Muir Woods; Oregon’s lighthouses, charming Brookings, and Bandon’s beaches; and Washington State’s Forks (setting for the Twilight series) and Long Beach, a great little hub for antiquing.

Breakouts abound: from guides to regional plants, wildlife, and beachcombing to practical information like essentials for the beach and for camping, and driving playlists. About the Author

The book is divided into four regional road trips – Southern California, Northern California, Oregon, and Washington State. Similar to Travels Through the French Riviera, each road trip will include an introduction, a map, a short text to go with each destination, and beautiful, whimsical colour illustrations throughout. Pacific Coasting captures the lure of the open road and will ignite the spark of wanderlust in us all.
