This book is a collection of carpet and rug designs from Danella Hooked Rugs. While the first edition featured fourteen designs, this book has sixty-three, including Oriental-inspired rugs. Since carpet is placed on a floor, it should be designed so that it can be seen from any side. Oriental carpets inspired most of Danella's designs. These carpets have more detailed features than are possible with Danella rug hooking, so it was not possible to just copy Oriental designs. Redesigning was needed, and artist Jane Dyrdal created the original Oriental rug hooking designs for Danella customers.
