Laid out before you is a harsh and cheerless world, where all the shots are called by the omnipresent System. In book 8, Elb remains faithful to his calling in Zombieland. He may succeed where hitherto nobody has succeeded, and complete the Blue Light mission. On the way, Elb contemplates the next location, Crontown, legendary city of true heroes. In the meantime, appearing unexpectedly on the horizon are some folks who sometime quit Elb's squad.
