New Ground

A dragon on the doorstep. A spy ring run by teenagers. A generation ready to go further.

The Partnership is gone, but the power struggle isn't over.

Vicki Heywood has left the State Department, and the Bridgewalkers-human, Suede, and Alpha Centaurian-relocate to a Quiet Zone as the military closes in on their stolen spacecraft. A Galactic Council member has arrived on Earth to decide whether humanity deserves its hard-won observer status. And someone with deep pockets has quietly moved in next door.

While the young people prepare for their first real solo interstellar voyage, the threats multiply: paramilitary teams sweep the Quiet Zones, mercenaries work for interests no one expected, and a paid informant reports to two masters who don't know the other exists.

The adults are still managing consequences. The young people are already writing what comes next.

NEW GROUND, the fourth novel in The Disclosure Files, takes the Bridgewalkers off-world for the first time on their own terms-to a planet obsessed with Earth, a caste system ripe for disruption, and a universe that is watching to see what Earthlings do when no one is telling them what to do. The vibrational shift isn't coming. It's here.
