Mud Puddles and Mockingbird Feathers Camelia Ledbetter has lived in Fort Walton Beach for over a hundred years across the Sound from Okaloosa Island that she fears more than anything else. Enter, Elmer Carter, his wife Balance, and their daughter, Bunny Jo. Elmer, a conniving schemer and vicious alcoholic, will get what he wants by any means-scams or bloody violence.
