Midnight Brew

The Los Angeles vampire wars had an unexpected victim. Teenaged Aida Menendez, a neighbor of the vampire cabal Muertos, was nearly killed in their battle with The Bomb Squad and Fudgie Whaloosie's gang. Despite being saved, Aida fell into a coma. But in her unconscious time, she discovers her hidden magical powers as she connects with the Aztec goddess Tonantzin. Now awake, she wants revenge on Tamar, the Muertos leader, and any other vampire in her way.

And the main vampire in her way is Sophia Fontanelle, the vampire sheriff of Los Angeles and the main leader of the Vampire Rehab Society, whose main focus is turning the vamps away from their predatory nature. Sophia finds it's hard to keep the peace when everyone, including her best friends, want war.

Midnight Brew is a wild ride, picking up from C.D. Brown's Vamp City, where vampires start their own businesses, young witches discover their power, monsters live in the sewer, Aztec gods and Voodoo loa feud, and the question of whether zombies exist gets answered.
