In 2005, I met Stan at the Pierpont Bay Yacht Club in Ventura, California. What began as a simple friendship soon became the foundation for a journey neither of us could have imagined. By 2008, we'd traded predictability for possibility-moving aboard a 46-foot catamaran with a shared dream: to chase the horizon.
But life, as it often does, had other plans.
By 2010, we pivoted-selling the catamaran in search of a better fit for our dream. With nothing but a packed car and a lot of hope, we headed east. In Satellite Beach, Florida, a 58-foot Hatteras LRC named Masterplan found us. And from that moment on, everything changed.
Over the next twelve years, we explored hidden coves, weathered wild seas, and discovered not only the world-but also ourselves. These three volumes capture more than just the adventure. They are about love, reinvention, and the kind of freedom you can only find when you let go of the dock lines.
