About the Author

Michael Boyd is a landscape, furniture, and architectural designer based in Los Angeles and San Francisco. He is the principal of Boyd Design, a consultancy for the restoration and preservation of modernist architecture, and for collecting modern art and design. He is an internationally renowned and published expert on 20th century design and post-war Modernism.

Ray Kappe is an internationally recognized architect, urban planner, and educator. His work is considered to be an extension of the early Southern California master architects: Wright, Shindler, and Neutra. He is a co-founder of SCI-Arc in Los Angeles.
