LOVE

Looking at the church through the metaphor of a human body, this book presents love in the church as blood in the human body. The book suggests that just as a blood test can tell a lot about human health, an analysis of the love in a church will reveal how healthy a church is. By learning vital lessons from human anatomy and physiology and the inevitable process of death, the book proves that

“Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.” (1 Corinthians 13:8)

By reading this book, you will also understand that, of all the virtues and spiritual gifts in the church, Love, the Word and Holiness are the only things that will survive the chilling hands of death and still be useful in eternity.

Joseph Agbo grew up as the son of a minister in an orthodox church, got born again in a pentecostal church and later became a minister himself. His quest for true love in the church has taken him through many ministries and churches. As a result, he has been privileged to serve in different departments and commitees of the church, such as, men's fellowship leader, young adult minister, youth minister, Sunday school teacher, evangelism/mission director, elders board, choir, building committee, executive council, Audio/Visual director, Web and publication team, intercessory team, welfare and Finance department. His love for reading and writing Christian literature has enabled him to participate in writing daily devotionals and gospel tracts. Pastor Agbo is married to Folake and has two daughters, Virtuous and Huldah, and a son Godfing. He is currently the pastor of his local assembly where he has served for more than 10 years.
