This series of books are my all time favorite and I wish I could give copies of the series to all my loved ones. They show what it looks like to be a Christian. This is the second time reading through them and I couldn't put them down this time either. Vikki Kestell makes her characters so real, you feel as though you know them and expect them to come through the door at any time. What I love most though is how she makes the Lord the center and the life of these books.

I have now read all six of the Prairie Heritage series. All I can say is that I don't think I have ever read a series with such suspense, romance, faith, and unusual story lines. One of my favorite things about these books is that they were not predictable. Read all six. You will be glad you did. I couldn't put them down. My only regret is the series is over.
