LIGHT IS BIG

The sun killed the world. He had 5,000 frozen embryos and no idea how to be a father.

Berlin, 2026. A solar flare erases civilization. Elias, a 27-year-old technician, survives alone in a hospital bunker.

In the basement, he finds a vault. Inside: 5,000 human embryos. The last seeds of humanity.

He doesn't know how to raise a child. He knows how to grow potatoes.

With only an AI named LOTTE to guide him, he presses the button.

Her name is Maya Amara.

At 2, she says light is big.

At 9, she invents a new language.

At 15, she must learn to press the button herself.

From one child to 62. From a bunker to a forest city growing over Berlin. From a fallen oak that becomes a bench, a grave, and a shrine.

LIGHT IS BIG is a hopeful, heartbreaking novel about what we save, what we plant, and what we remember.

For fans of Station Eleven, The Road, Project Hail Mary, and The Last of Us - but with potatoes, deer, and a language called zib-flur.

We are not starting from scratch.
We are starting from memory.
