Learn and Adapt

Escaping the harsh reality of an apocalyptic world, the people of Bred¶ are now sailing from Norway towards Nova Scotia across the Atlantic Ocean. No engines, just a large luxury sailing yacht not built for extreme weather or unforeseen situations. The tough crew and the people from Sweden face circumstances that defy belief, taking a serious toll on their humanity, strength, and willpower. Young Ludwig Kaminski proves to be the kind of leader people notice and trust. But Ludwig is not yet a grown-up, and teenage hormones can sometimes distract him.

After hardship and toil, they finally spot Halifax, Nova Scotia, and are welcomed with warmth and new regulations. Ludwig Kaminski and his romantic interest prove vital in integrating the Bred¶ Chapter into Nova Scotian society. The years pass, and suddenly, all that humanity has ceased to believe becomes reality. A massive object swiftly approaches Earth, then slows down, shifts course, and terrifies humanity, which was beginning to feel normal again. An alien race called UDoor has observed humans for a long time and offers them a way to escape a dying world. They deliver three enormous skeletons of arks for 3 million people and a route out of this part of the galaxy. All humans need to do is complete the constructions, choose leaders, and find 3 million capable individuals - those able to procreate and skilled enough to face what is coming.

Ludwig Kaminski is now the leader everyone needed, guiding the remaining people of Earth in completing the arks. Where there is jealousy and greed, there are also those willing to do anything to be among the chosen. Ludwig must confront the worst aspects of human nature, leaving him with no choice. The unimaginable becomes the way out of the crisis, but Ludwig will protect the future among the stars. Finally, the arks are complete and have been tested under real-world conditions. The Kaminski legacy remains as strong as ever.
