About the Author

Kate Oates has been designing knitwear since 2009, and in just these past few years has published 150 designs in a variety of outlets, including her own brands, Tot Toppers and When I Grow Up, and her book Knitting Clothes Kids Love. Her designs have been featured on dozens of blogs including Never Not Knitting, Spud and Chloe, Craftsy, and more, and her designs have been "favourited" on Ravelry almost 44,000 times. She is mom to four boys, giving her plenty of insight into the needs and wants of a wide range of ages.
