This coming of-age story follows two nineteen-year olds, Jo and Lou. After sheltered upbringings, the two set out alone for the time on an adventure abroad to Athens in 1959. What unfolds is a journey filled with innocent fun, laughter, and the delight of discovering the world beyond home.

Although fictionalised, the story is rooted in Jo's original journals from the time.
