This book considers the geometric requirements of an undercrossing bridge and its falsework, as well as culverts under the freeway and ramps.
The book extensively uses design standards from California State Department of Transportation (Caltrans). The process and procedures employed in this book can be useful for students who are interested in the design standards and controls of other state Departments of Transportation (such as New York Department of Transportation (DOT), Georgia DOT) for the interchange design.

Design software InRoads from Bentley is selected in this book. The design process and procedures described in this book can be implemented in other design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D.
