Hidden Realms

Fifteen-year-old princess Janique Taurudif just wants to achieve perfection. As the heir to the throne of Mount Surilya, the First Realm, she is forced to hide every emotion and put up a mask of flawlessness for her kingdom. With her mother's high expectations and no knowledge of her father's identity, she is used to relying solely on her twin brother for support. On the day of the Summer Festival, her mother goes into a rage and sends her to Mount Lunar, the Second Realm, without an explanation. Nothing eases Janique's confusion, especially when she discovers that her father is the ruler of the Second Realm and that she is the sister to another pair of siblings. There, she learns of a prophecy concerning her mother that causes her to question everything she knows about her life. When Janique and her newfound brother embark on a journey where their strength and determination is tested, she must learn to confront her past and its demons.

Kaden Taurudif is grateful he was the twin born later. He can't imagine shouldering the burden of Janique's responsibilities and the pressure that is put on her. After finding himself in the palace library after an unexpected turn of events, he comes across a book that brings light to the identity of his dad. When he follows his twin to Mount Lunar, however, he finds her gone and their dad missing. The only person left in the palace is Elira, his sister. Thrown together in uncertainty, they are forced to work together as they work to uncover the secrets buried under their family's past.

Alternating perspectives, Hidden Realms follows Janique and Kaden Taurudif on their magic-filled journeys as they learn to forgive themselves and those they hold close.
