Charles, a jobless Brazilian, has been plotting ways to pay his bills when he suddenly comes across a frightening figure who offers him a job, one that is too good to be true, and this is how his newfound adventure begins, how he comes to discover life as it really is, delicate, fleeting, incredible, supernatural, and strange.
Lacking any choice, Charles ultimately accepts a five hundred year contract with Hell, a contract which grants him some benefits, but little did Charles know that this would bring forth the intervention that would alter the existence of mankind as we know it today.

The following story takes place in the 21st century, nowadays, and the various characters, monsters, and entities described can be found in various different cultures described in different ways and forms. But this story is not just a historical legend; you may or may not believe it; but this is a story based on true accounts, but to find out more about it, you need to pay close attention to the story and the many details I am about to share with you.
