Halcyon

Small town detective Seren Daniels has one goal in mind; find the one responsible for the string of murders that has tormented their settlement. To keep the residents safe of course, but also so she can return to the familiar quiet of her life on Tenebra-where the never-ending night and flesh-eating jungle bugs aren't enough to chase away those that are ensnared in its soft glow.

When a mysterious, injured ship captain by the name of Zal'eth stumbles across her murder investigation while hunting a dangerous fugitive of his own, they quickly realize they're on a converging path and must learn to work together, relying on each other's strengths. But beneath his jokes and sarcastic quips he hides secrets of his own.

When they uncover something sinister is haunting the town and its people, they learn that nothing is as it seems. Seren and Zal are each confronted with their own choice between duty and heart. When faced with the prospect of losing everything, our actions speak louder than a promise. Will the trust they built be enough to keep the truth from tearing them apart?
