Gold Rush

Over 150 years ago, men from all walks of life gave up their jobs, their land and even their homes to venture forth to California in search of fortune during the great 'Gold Rush'. Some struck it rich, while some just struck rock bottom. Now, in the 21st Century, the location and the equipment may have changed, but the desire and dedication of those sacrificing all they have in pursuit of gold remains just as strong as ever.

Gold Rush follows a group of down-on-their-luck men who, in the face of an economic meltdown, risk everything--their families, their dignity, and in some cases, their lives--to strike it rich mining for gold. As rival crews stake their claims to mining opportunities in Alaska, South America and Canada, the pressure is on to strike pay-dirt before the funds run out and the prospectors are sent packing.

Over the years, the crews face bold new challenges, new equipment and massive power shifts. It's a battle like never before as they push to find the most gold yet. Gold mining is a dangerous business and you never know who's going to come out on top. Will these intrepid miners be rewarded for their hard work and optimism, or will the glittering treasures of the frozen north remain out of their reach?
