Jesus declared, "My Father is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil" - Luke 6:35. This is but an amplification of the preceding argument. The passage, when properly translated exposes the errors of traditional orthodoxy. Rather than injecting a fear of a vindictive God of "eternal" wrath and "everlasting" Hell, it comforts the listener with a vindicating God, judging human works with restorative measures.
