The Royal College Emergency exams are no mean feat. Anyone who has gone through the process knows the extensive amount of knowledge one needs to amass for these examinations. The new edition of the SAQ intermediate comes at a crucial time in one's preparation for these exams.

The organization of this book is divided according to the curriculum on the RCEM website and follows the pattern of acute and major presentations, Trauma Emergencies, Paediatrics, Anaesthesia, Procedures and Common competencies.

This book was one I first made from my extensive collection of notes which I personally made to study for the MRCEM and FRCEM. And now after successful completion of these exams not just for me but for countless others, I hope this book helps you successfully bridge the gap to success in these daunting but not impossible exams.
