The first nine months of Donald Trump's term were stormy, outrageous - and absolutely mesmerising. Now, thanks to his deep access to the West Wing, bestselling author Michael Wolff tells the riveting story of how Trump launched a tenure as volatile and fiery as the man himself.
In this explosive book, Wolff provides a wealth of new details about the chaos in the Oval Office.
Among the revelations: What President Trump's staff really thinks of him What inspired Trump to claim he was wire-tapped by President Obama Why FBI director James Comey was really fired Why chief strategist Steve Bannon and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner couldn't be in the same room Who is really directing the Trump administration's strategy in the wake of Bannon's firing What the secret to communicating with Trump is What the Trump administration has in common with the movie The Producers
Never before has a presidency so divided the American people.
Brilliantly reported and astoundingly fresh, Michael Wolff's Fire and Fury shows us how and why Donald Trump has become the king of discord and disunion.
The book was a gift for my 71st birthday. I had "dropped" a few hints that I was looking for this book and was heard by my wife. I enjoyed the book immensely and have mentioned it to an American friend who is keen to purchase it for himself. Unfortunately Mr Trump is one of the weirdest , dangerous and possibly corrupt presidents that USA will possibly ever have. But what can you expect from a "game show host" who has the morals of an alley cat.
A very interesting book
I found this book gives an insight into the alarming Trump presidency. It is believable and sketches each of the players in the White House very well.
Interesting and believable
The exceptional overuse of dashes in sentence construction made it a little difficult to concentrate.

Interesting, but of course it is.
Everyone who reads this is probably coming into it with some kind of bias, pro or anti Trump (me being anti) and at the end of it all, it's a political opinion book, of course the author has his own biases.
But if you read it with the pinch of salt, "if something sounds to good to be real" mentality, there's some interesting insights.
The real problem really is we're into the "Alternative Facts" era of smoke and mirrors, where the truth is apparently subjective....
Fire and Fury
There was so much hype about this book, nearly everything in the book was on tv.
This book would be so funny if it wasn't true!
For an insight into the crazy goings on at the White House this is a must read. If only 10% of the book is true it's still mind blowingly horrendous to hear how chaotic Trump's White House is. Not one individual in the administration is fit to be there.
Fire and Fury
Too many American names popping up and no interest to Australians
I could predict the finish
Slow start. Better in the middle.
Most enlightening and well written. So many details .
personal interest of world events
Great read unless you are one of The Donalds disciples.
You could be forgiven for thinking the author may have Demon Cratic sympathies.I cannot recall one supportive comment about the President by any of his senior staff.A very good read but not necessarily an enjoyable one.
Fire and Fury
The book lays out in gossipy, technicolour detail all the infighting and dysfunction which pockmarked the first year of the Trump administration. - The Saturday Age
