Finn, a young boy, is lonely. Puss, a cat, is lost. Then Finn and Puss meet. Suddenly Finn isn’t lonely anymore, and Puss seems happy to be with Finn too. So when Finn sees a ‘Lost’ poster, he’s faced with a tough decision.

This simple story explores how sometimes we need to make hard choices but that ‘doing the right thing’ has its own rewards.

About the Author

Robert Vescio has worked as a photo editor and production manager in the publishing industry and is now a full-time children’s author. As a Books in Homes role model, his aim is to enthuse and inspire children to read and write and leave them bursting with imaginative ideas.

About the Illustrator

Melissa Mackie enjoys drawing and painting from everyday life to creating quirky new realities. Melissa has a diploma of graphic design and her favourite medium to use is gouache and watercolour on paper. Her style can vary from traditional painting techniques to digital collage. This is her first picture book.
