Fighting for Fiona

Rick Robertson lived his dream life as the second-generation owner & promoter of the world's most successful sports entertainment company, the Galactic Wrestling Association. As a single dad & billionaire boss, his life was spent traveling the world with his twelve-year-old daughter & the crew he considered a second family. But seeing his staff & talent falling in love made him realize there was still one thing missing in his life, his soulmate.

Fiona Harrison was tired of living the sheltered life of a preacher's daughter in a small Texas town. She craved adventure & excitement, like she read about regularly. She wanted to go see the world. And maybe meet her soulmate.

Fiona jumped at the chance to travel with the GWA when she learned about their traveling English teacher position. She interviewed for the job when the GWA was in Heart's Destiny for a wedding over Thanksgiving break, immediately scheduling her start date for the beginning of the new year. She just hoped the instant attraction she felt when she interviewed with the owner of the company wouldn't make the working conditions too uncomfortable.

Rick didn't think his attraction to the new English teacher, who was ten years his junior, would be a problem. She was too young to be interested in a single father with too much responsibility on his shoulders to ever have time to take her out and treat her the way a beautiful young woman like her deserved. He considered himself more than man enough to appreciate her beauty from afar & keep all their interactions professional.

Then he went home to New York over Christmas break & hired a male history teacher closer to Fiona's age. When the two new teachers both started work & seemed to be spending an awful lot of time together, Rick struggled to fight his natural alpha tendency to claim Fiona as his own.

Which battle would Rick win? The battle with himself not to pursue Fiona? Or the fight for Fiona's heart?
