About the Author

Award-winning Creative Director and illustrator Gattaldo studied art in Florence and now lives and works in London. A close friend of Daphne's, Gattaldo was inspired to create a book about her when he saw how the story of her fearless journalism and shocking murder stirred the imagination of his young niece and nephew. Gattaldo wrote and illustrated Fearless for other children the world over to share.
