   Human activities and development focusing on economic growth have an adverse impact on natural and inhabited environment day after day. In this book, all aspects of environment and the associated problems are presented along with solutions proposed to achieve an harmonic co-existence of man and natural life as well as sustainable development. Specifically, following an introductory chapter, the book contains the following sub-chapters: Atmospheric Environment, Aquatic Environment, Soil Environment, Natural Environment, Urban Environment, Energy and Environment, Extraterrestrial Environment and Environment and Development. Latest research findings and the trend of the global environmental policy for each issue are utilised in order to provide the most updated information to the reader.
