Jessica Wheaton was just like any high school girl. She was sweet, kinda nerdy, and had a small but solid group of friends.

School had just let out and she was simply heading home, just like everyone else.

But trouble always seemed to find her. And trouble's name was Denise Bower.

Her bully, the girl who swore to make Jessica's life a living hell, no matter what.

There was just no reasoning with her.

Even if she'd done nothing wrong, Jessica always found herself on Denise's bad side.

With her raspy breathing and eyes filled with hatred, she saw Denise going in for the kill.

There was just no way Jessica would make it out alive.

The pressure in her ears just kept building, and building, and building.

A loud ringing snapped her out of it. It was all just a bad dream. Jessica was grateful that it was only a dream.

But she was feeling sick with a headache. After looking around, she didn't recognize her surroundings. She felt a little weird as she got up out of bed, almost like she had a hangover overnight. Touching herself, everything felt so strange and foreign to her, like it wasn't her face she was feeling. Looking in the mirror, a scream lodged itself in her throat.

...What she didn't know was that the bad dream was just starting.
