Encyclopedia of Forensic Sciences

Forensic science includes all aspects of investigating a crime, including its chemistry, biology and physics. Over the course of many years, the Encyclopedia of Forensic Sciences, Three Volume Set has been the consummate reference work for the forensic sciences, encompassing their history, application, future trends, and professional issues. Forensic science is a lynchpin of fairness in any criminal justice system and supports equality under the rule of law.

The current (second) edition, published in 2013, is highly recognized, having been built on the first edition which was awarded an Honorable Mention in the prestigious Dartmouth Medal competition. Professional: Philosophy, ethics, associations, accreditation, certification, licensing, legal issues, admissibility, etc.

All chapters will be revised with the latest in the field and brand new chapters will be added reflecting the new developments in digital forensics since publication of the previous edition. All in all, Encyclopedia of Forensic Sciences will remain the perfect reference work for the modern-day forensic practitioner.
