After helping the Iungo win their freedom from the First Humans, two siblings from Emendo, Cinis and Tressa, were discovered by one of the disgraced commanders and dropped off on the United Trusts and Colonies prison planet. Raised on horror stories about the prison planet, Cinis and Tressa try to prepare themselves for the fight of their life against the blood Resper, terrifying, blood-sucking inhabitants of the planet. Nothing could have prepared them for life as two blood Resper's personal blood pets. 

When a First Human soldier burst in to find Taberi standing over his murdered best friend, he is accused of the crime and is sent to the UTC prison planet. Growing up on the street after he was created in a lab and dumped in the Emendo business district, Taberi trusts nothing but his own color shifting skin. 

Cinis, Tressa, and Taberi end up with far more than they could've ever expected from such a wretched place.
