He lost his brother. He lost his hearing. He's spent every day since making sure no one finds out about either.
Eden transfers schools carrying more than anyone around him realizes — a brother he's lost, a tragedy he can't talk about, and a hearing loss he's determined to hide at any cost. Walls are easier than explanations. Silence is easier than being seen.
Then Heo Sori happens to him.
Bright, stubborn, impossible to discourage, and paired with Eden for a gym project he never asked for, Sori doesn't take the hint to back off. He just keeps showing up — patient, warm, and steady in a way Eden has no defenses against.
Slowly, carefully, the color starts coming back into Eden's grey world. And for the first time in longer than he can remember, Eden finds himself wanting something: not silence, not distance, just him.
"I wish he'd be the only sound in my world."
A moving high school romance about grief, healing, and a love that speaks louder than sound.
Perfect for fans of: coming-of-age MM romance, grief and healing arcs, hidden-disability storylines, persistent and patient love interests, emotionally tender high school romance.
