Former Green Beret, Nate Wilde, knows it'll take something special to get ahead in his new civilian career in academia.

Something like locating the lost Arabian city of Ubar, the legendary Atlantis of the Sands. So, when his proposal for an archaeological dig is rejected by Harvard and his expedition permit denied, he resolves to go anyway.

Success will require a return to the place where many of his comrades were killed or injured when their mission was compromised. In the company of the only men he truly trusts: three survivors of that fateful day - a small band of brothers that includes ex-SAS medic Wally Walton.

But infiltrating through war-torn Yemen is the least of their problems. A team of deadly mercenaries is racing towards Arabia's Empty Quarter, their objective unknown. And Nate's treasure hunt soon becomes a fight for survival, and one in which he and his team must prevail.

Because, win or lose, the outcome will change the course of history . . .
