Not only is this fast paced, it also has some great characterisation that brings originality to this genre. What I also loved was the way it weaves a social conscious and awareness into the story that gives it an edge over the competition!

It's one of those books where you become so immersed in the world and the people within it that it's hard to put down. An engaging and memorable read that I would happily recommend.

Edge-of-your-seat stuff - and it managed to surprise me several times! The writer paints vivid pictures of the characters and the environment, and weaves a complex web of story strands. A great debut from a new author - looking forward to the next book in the series!

I thoroughly enjoyed T.A. Muller-King's first book, Death's Shadow. Authors like Alex Kava, Karin Slaughter, and James Patterson have always been my favourites, and I never thought anyone could compare, but T.A. Muller-King has now become my favorite author.
