Following the trail of al-Sadr to Hong Kong, Tom Parker meets and falls in love with Jenny Lu, Hong Kong's director of port security and a billionaire Chinese widow. Jenny Lu is beautiful, rich, headstrong, and worse yet, a lawyer who doesn't know the meaning of the words "no" or "can't." She has been a widow for a long time and has no intention of losing her new love, no matter what that means!

Clark Selby was born in Miami, Oklahoma in 1936 and attended school in Kansas and Oklahoma. He and his wife Karen Serene Selby, live in Springfield, Missouri. Clark spent more than forty years as an executive in the parking industry, working in over sixty countries on six continents, with cities, universities, and hospitals. As vice president of international sales for Duncan Industries, he won the President of the United States Excellence in Exporting Award. When his first wife, Patricia, became paralyzed, he retired to become her full-time caregiver, and as an outlet, he began writing novels using the various places he had worked in his stories.
