Industry Reviews
It's amazing. -- Smart Bitches, Trashy Books
[Hines] writes joyously for the delight of his specific market ... a niche loved by many, including this reviewer. * RT Books *
It's all packed together with lots of over-the-top action ... It's great fun to see just what Isaac and his enemies will come up with next, and Isaac's very non-standard romance adds both humor and emotion. * Locus *
Codex Born has the coolest premise ever ... Hines is an engaging writer who is also greatly entertaining, and I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys superior world-building -- Charlaine Harris
