Reflections. How long do we look at what is no longer there or search for what can no longer be seen?

What happens when life is taken away too soon? What happens when you feel you can no longer breathe or know what the next step is?She had made a promise to him.Could she keep it? Payton, or Pay as he affectionately called her, whispered to the fresh dirt that had covered him, "I'll do my best GP to compete one more time." She fell to the ground and sat. Tears gathered. She looked up to the heavens. "One more time for you."

No one knew if she would return. Of course, there was speculation. The circuit was aware that she had not participated in any tournaments throughout the year. Would she still be a good foe or would she even make the attempt? Dustin and his team had heard of her grandfather's passing.They, of course, continued the tournament circuit. They had kept their ears close to the ground to see if she would attend any without him.She had not.

All knew The Devil's Hole Tournament was where he had made his fame. This tournament belonged to him. Dustin wondered if she would continue the tradition. Would the granddaughter be strong enough to compete without the grandfather?

Payton's life had changed drastically. 

Dustin's life was about to change.
