"That's silk that you're holding there," a deep voice spoke behind her and she whirled.
A man dressed in an open-collared white shirt and dark slacks stood behind her. He had dark wavy hair and deep brown eyes framed by long dark lashes and a square jaw that was shadowed by a day's growth.
She groaned inwardly. Of course he had to be good looking. Five o'clock shadows were her weakness.
"And this?" she asked, before remembering her vow of silence and clamping a hand over her mouth.
But he only smiled. "Just don't forget again. I'll explain everything as we go. I'm Andrew. And that is hemp. That one," he pointed, "is bamboo. I use all natural fibers as well as naturally dyed rope."
She inspected the rope more closely, admiring the feel of it on her skin.
"We'll use mostly bamboo, but we'll use the hemp in your hair and for suspension. It provides fantastic friction."
She raised her eyebrows at the word suspension, and he pointed to the ring in the center of the room. It was a simple steel ring, dangling above her, a triskele in its center.
"Suspension means just what it sounds like. You'll be bound, and hung in various positions. It's a beautiful art."
