BOOST Maths

Each BOOST maths workbook and CD provides a carefully sequenced series of maths activities for children in the designated age group. The activities were developed after analysis of the maths curricula in all Australian states and New Zealand.

BOOST Maths Ages 6-7 Book 1 provides a fun and rewarding way for students to develop their mathematical skills. This interactive maths workbook, which comes with a CD, is one of three books for this BOOST Maths age range. The workbooks progress in complexity, with Book 1 being the least complex, and Book 3 the most challenging. These workbooks can also be purchased in a pack for this age range.

This workbook provides over 140 pages full of mathematical activities. In addition, the CD supplies over 150 interactive maths questions plus hours of rewards.

BOOST Maths has a unique reward system for students, allowing them to unlock and play computer games with 'reward codes' found by correctly completing sections of the BOOST Maths workbook, engaging and motivating students to complete the maths exercises. Six games are found on the CD, providing a variety of games to appeal to all children. Games include Extreme Fashion, Extreme Superheroes, Bug Whack, Hamster Hospital, Galactic Retrieval Squad and Samurai Sculpt.

Rewards can also be added by parents and correct answer targets modified in the BOOST Maths software to develop a personalised reward system for their child. Students can then select which reward they would like to work towards and answer interactive BOOST Maths questions on the CD to achieve the reward certificate and corresponding prize. Parent support materials are provided to help involve parents in their child's learning.
