Haroldo's approach to these devotions comes from seeing God in his everyday real-life work as a court interpreter in the Southern California Courts. Each vignette begins with the story of how individuals fare in court. There are triumphs but mostly sad, real-world experiences. He then "flips the script" as it were, and we are now in God's court or at least are looking at the human situation from a celestial Christocentric view. What is amazing is how each story turns just enough that you get a different look at another facet of God's love and grace. They take Romans 5:20 and give flesh to the skeletal statement "where sin abounded grace much more abounded". Even those of us grounded in grace will be pleasantly surprised at the increased breadth and depth of that grace illustrated in the stories.

Whether you read it as a devotional or just a read for encouragement you will have your view of the unfathomable richness and incomprehensible depth of our Savior's love for each of us.

Dr. Camacho has done it again. In this, his second collection of reflections from his real-life experiences as a court interpreter, he has applied God's word to our real-life actions. Many people say that God's inspired word (the Bible) was given to an ancient people and has no place in our modern lives. But with his insightful reflections of real life today we see that God's word is very much for you and me today. God tells us "if you believe in what Jesus says and has done for each and every one of us" then for us ALL CHARGES HAVE BEEN DROPPED and we will dwell with Jesus in heaven forever. I recommend this devotional for all people of all ages.

All Charges Dropped! Volume 2 has carried on the exquisite examples from Volume 1 of the daily trials suffered by guilty and innocent people alike. Dr. Haroldo S. Camacho opens the curtain for us to see how suffering and forgiveness can affect people's lives. I prefer the adoption and happy endings personally but realize not everyone's life is so blessed. These books are a wonderful addition to my daily devotions as each snippet from the courtroom is related to Bible truths. Thank you, Dr. Camacho, for opening your world for our enlightenment.

Haroldo and I have been acquaintances, through a mutual friend, Carlos Perez, for many years. One day, on my lunch break, I was dining alone at a Chinese restaurant when Haroldo entered with his cohort of interpreters from the local courthouse. He didn't notice me, and I didn't want to bother him, so I just sat and ate my hot and sour soup and, with great interest, listened to this group of translators debate the meaning of one word for nearly half an hour. It was stunning to me to consider how much thought and care translators give to their craft.

With that said, understand this, ever since, by God's grace, Haroldo was set free from the condemnation of the law by the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ, he has been as equally passionate to share this good news with others. This book reflects that passion and goes to great lengths to comfort the reader with the message that, no matter who you are or what you have done to deserve God's wrath and condemnation, for the sake of Jesus, you are forgiven. This book is a fantastic resource for broken people everywhere.
