A beautiful Christmas story based on the traditional legend of the Christmas Rose.

The fields near Bethlehem are filled with great joy when angels appear telling of the birth of a very special baby. Madelon's uncle, his men, and the magnificent kings riding on camels all have gifts for the Saviour. But Madelon has nothing. What could she possibly give him?

Industry Reviews

Lucy Hennessy has captured the desert sands and desolate landscape while still maintaining the colours of Christmas throughout the pages. Wendy Blaxland's simple words allow the miracle that can come from a desire to give to emerge from this Christmas tale.

A sweet Christmas tale that is just a little bit different.
