About the Author

Kirsteen Robson joined Usborne in 1997 with a background in music, education, and Christian publishing. She has written and edited over 300 Usborne titles, from dictionaries and encyclopedias to activity books with flaps, stickers and sounds. She loves the challenge of writing about anything from aardvarks to zombies.

About the Illustrator

Sarah is a freelance designer and illustrator living in her hometown of Sheffield with her husband and 'studio assistant' Alfie the border terrier. It was during her degree in Visual Communication that she began to take her illustration work onto the Mac and mix the two elements together. After a stint of training and working as a lithographic printer she then pursued her design background and went to work for Hallmark Cards as a Mac Designer for a number of years. It was then time for her next challenge and to take the leap into the world of freelance. She now works from her home studio for numerous clients around the world, (under the watchful eye of Alfie of course!).
